Music lessons?

Since starting back at school, I have loved every moment. It's been so good. It's weird how much older I feel just by being in Sixth Form. It really is.

I got a letter in English Literature about Peri lessons (music lessons). It's £92.40 a term for strings and some others and it's £110 for piano and something else. I play the violin and in Y7 and Y8, school halved these so it was only £41.20 a term. In Y9, Y10 and Y11, I didn't have to pay because I was doing music for one of my GCSE's. There is no way at all that I'm having lessons this year. It's way too expensive. Apparently, the lessons will take place in a well ventiliated room and with social distancing and PPE. However, the practise rooms are tiny and stuffy. There isn't even a window in one. There would be no ventilation and it would be practically impossible to social distance inside a room that isn't big enough to swing a cat. Or fit 11 people in. It only fits 9 in, and that makes it impossible to move. Don't ask how I know that! God knows what it would be like.

In Lit, we did an essay on the first couple of chapters of The Great Gastby. My arm ached after. Tomorrow I have Lit and R.E. I love both lessons so much. I can also come home at dinner.

I got a bottle of Cola from the vending machine and it was blinking £1.40! Expensive or what?!

Joke of the day: How does a penguin build it's house? Igloos it together!!!
