Enrichment
It's the third week of school and last Thursday I was given an essay (already) to do on Pre-Islamic Arabia. Now I don't mind doing essays. But I do mind that teacher. It should be eventful as she said that we shouldn't write too much but we also shouldn't write too less. So how many words should we write? It makes literally no sense.
On Wednesday, my enrichment starts. This is what every sixth form student has to do. There is a variety of enrichments, I'm doing the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). I did want to do the DoE again as I did my bronze in y10 but we could only pick one. I had many ideas for this such as:
- The British Empire
- Suffragettes and the fight for the right to vote
- Mary Seacole
But I have settled on a topic that has just popped into my head right this very second: Tourettes! I mean, it's an icredibly good way to raise awarness. I just need to make sure that no-one will put me down for doing this. I'm not going to back away from doing my EPQ on Tourettes. No way Jose. One of my new friends is doing the EPQ as well so it should be interesting and I'm so glad she's doing it because I don't know anyone else who has chosen it. One of my other friends was going to choose it but she only got a 4 in both Englishes and the grade required was a 5. She's picked core maths which is just absolutely confusing as she didn't like maths. Although now she is adamant she did. It's just a coincidence how one of her favourite teachers is teaching core maths. I know what she's doing!
EPQ starts on Wednesday and I can't wait. I'm really excited.
