Under Pressure
6 more days until results. My tics have been quite bad today because I'm worrying a lot about it. But I'm going to get my results with 3 of my best friends and hopefully the grades will be good. If they get all downgraded, I won't be pleased.
Ways to cope with Tourettes under stress:
- Listen to any music that makes you feel relaxed enough
- Watch a tv show that you absolutely love; in my case, Doctor Who, Friends or Scrubs
- Fidget with something that either squishes or feels nice
- Breathe in and out slowly for 7 seconds and then continue to breathe normally
- Talk to someone and let someone know what is wrong
- Ask for a hug from someone in your family or a really good friend
- Ask for help
