Tourettes documentaries

There's quite a lot of documentaries on Tourettes but a lot of them is just mainly focused on people with coprolalia which isn't fair. The best one I watched was called Tourettes and Me (I think that's what it was called) which was focusing on different teenagers in America that had Tourettes and each suffered differently with it. It made me cry but it was really good.

Documentaries to watch:

  • I Have Tourettes but Tourettes Doesn't Have Me- A 2005 American documentary film that lasts 27 minutes and it shows the struggles of children between the ages of 6 and 13. It explores the challenges they face in their day-to-day life. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7_dBRDvkbTU

  • Teenage Tourettes Camp- A 2006 documentary that follows kids with Tourettes in a American summer camp. It's 1 hour and 30 minutes long. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp1GH7SgVPE
  • Tourettes and Me (I think)- A 2019 documentary following American teenagers going through their teenage years with their Tourettes. I'll try and remember the proper name. This is definitely the best documentary out there.
