Tic free day!
Us Britons complain about the weather no matter the season. In winter, "Oh, it's too cold," in summer, "It's way too hot," in autumn, "It's too windy," and in spring, "It's too rainy." We can't win. At all. But today has been waaaaaaaay too hot.
Do you want to know a very good way of cooling yourself down? Throwing water bombs. My mum filled 40 up, gave 20 to my sister and 20 to me and we threw them at each other. It was very fun! Another good way to cool down is when a water bomb pops inside the bag that it's in and then your mum chucks the water over your head. Thank you mum!
I have found another thing that calms my tics. Drilling. My mum wanted to make a box for my sisters' outdoor toys to go into, so I helped. I now know how to countersink (make a layer of the wood come off) and I made a box for flowers to go in. It was actually quite relaxing, I didn't tic once because I was so focused on it.
Today hasn't been a bad day for tics for once which has been absolutely lovely. I think my brain realised that it was so hot to waste energy.
