How to relax with Tourettes

My sister didn't want me to go to the shop today so I stayed at home and did my diamond painting. Finally finished it though! I think I need to relax a lot more. Definitely.

How to relax with Tourettes:


  • Breathe in and out slowly for 2 minutes
  • Watch a TV show that you love, for example for me it would be Doctor Who 
  • Or listen to music you love or a calming playlist
  • Make your own calm playlist and breathe in for 3 seconds and out for 5 seconds for a couple of minutes. 
  • Do something to focus your mind. When your mind is focused, you are less likely to tic. Even if it's riding a unicycle with a cat on your head. Stay focused on something that you are doing
Hopefully that will help you calm down. It can also help you calm down if you've got anxiety. 

Just remember to breathe and don't stop because it's bad for your health if you do stop!
